A story: Once upon a time, there was a small village. In the village lived a family of four: a mother, a father, and two young children. One day, the father decided to go out hunting in the nearby woods.
After a few hours, he returned home with a large deer. When the mother saw the deer, she was overjoyed and thanked her husband for providing such a large meal for the family. The children were also excited and ran to see the deer. But when they got close, they noticed that the deer had a broken leg and was in terrible pain.
The father was embarrassed and quickly went to put the deer out of its misery. The mother then spoke up, saying that she could not allow her husband to kill the deer, as it had done nothing wrong. She asked her husband to show mercy and instead nurse the deer back to health.
The father was hesitant, but eventually agreed and the family worked together to care for the injured deer. After a few weeks, the deer was healthy and strong again and the family was able to release it back into the wild.
The moral of the story is that even in difficult situations, it is possible to show mercy and compassion.
